Waterproofing involves creating a staunch barrier between the ground and its foundation. This helps to reduce humidity levels and prolong the lifespan of your concrete structures.
The elastomeric membrane is welded with a sealing torch. A primer is then pressure-washed, dried and installed. It is 2.5 mm thick and its elastic capacity is 30%.
The sprayed elastomeric and synthetic membrane serves to waterproof uneven surfaces such as stone foundations. Preparation is more complex, because the surface needs to be repaired before we can eliminate any holes, crevasses, cracks, etc. After spraying, a 24 to 48 hour waiting period is required. Depending on the relative temperature and humidity levels, a SOPRADRAIN membrane or its equivalent may be installed before any fills are made to protect the membrane.
